The Creekside Cultural Center is run by the community and membership. There are many ways you can get involved - we need the unique contributions of every individual. There are lots of ways you can be a part of making the things you want happen.

  • Contribute your ideas:
    • Tell us what programs and activities you want - concerts, theater, poetry readings, barn dances, childrens clubs, support groups.
    • Let us know how you think we should paint the side of the barn (mural? billboard?) or decorate the center.
    • Give us input into any other thing that's inspiring you!
  • Contribute "Stuff" we need:
    • Insulation – all types, as much as we can get – especially foam boards, blown cellulose, and 24”rolled stuff. 
    • Roof paint - silvercoat, 15 gallons
    • Linoleum or tile – 9 x 9 feet
    • Powered Amplifier for multiple inputs, with "phantom power."
    • Glass front refrigerator case for displaying deserts (long low one or upright)
    • Leftover wall paint, brushes, etc.
    • Polyurethane - 5-7 gallons
    • A good video camera
    • Several condenser microphones for recording performances
    • A computer with at least 2GB memory and 80 gig hard drive for recording performances
    • Windows and doors (especially a large glass door)
    • A staircase or lumber to build it - especially a spiral one, or two spiral ones.
    • LCD Projector and screen
    • Fencing of various types
    • Vented Propane heater(s)
    • Solar Panels, batteries, and accessories
    • Interesting gently used books, movies, games, and toys that might be used by other members
    • Lots and Lots of gravel for making a parking area large enough for 20 cars
  • Contribute your time:
    • Volunteer to take money and tickets and help sell snacks at an event
    • Be in charge of distruibuting fliers and newsletters to one or more locations
    • Be a speaker, entertainer, or program leader for an event
    • Come to a work day to paint, haul rocks, plant a garden, clean the space, run plumbing and electricity to the right places, build a wheelchair ramp, put in windows and doors, insulate, decorate, put up lighting, catalog books, etc....
    • Be part of a special interest group that plans a series of events, an after school club, a fundraising campaign, etc.
    • Talk to your neighbors and friends and find out how we can serve their needs.
    • Talk to artists, musicians, history experts, boat builders, tractor mechanics, or anyone else who might teach us or entertain us in any way and see how we might get them involved.
  • Contribute money or find organizations and individuals who will sponsor an event or an improvement at these or other levels:

$100 or more - Dove - your sponsorship will:

  •  purchase insulation and wall coverings 
  • Or AV equipment upgrades
  • Or sponsor a unit box of materials for our library/homeschol support center
  • Or sponsor a concert, podcast or educational event (Your choice!). 

You will receive all benefits of membership plus four guest passes per year for your choice of  "member select" events.  Your name will be included on the wall above the stage, on the website, and listed in the newsletter.

$500 or more - Red Tailed Hawk - Your sponsorship will:

  • purchase a window 
  • Or provide for printing and advertising to promote our activities for a month, and bring the audience to the artists.
  • Or sponsor an entire special event (your choice!). 

All benefits above but instead of four guest passes for the year, you may bring one guest to each "member select" event.  Your name will be listed on the wall above the stage, on the website,  and in the newsletter. 

$1000 or more - Perigrine Falcon - your sponsorship will:

  • purchase a glass front refrigerator case for food
  • Or a special energy efficient heating unit
  • Or glass door for the barn front
  • Or a staircase
  • Or create a "traveling artists' fund to provide travel costs to artists and speakers coming from a greater distance to work with us.
  • Or sponsor an educational series (your choice! Nature awareness, organic gardening, yoga, theater, etc.)

All benefits above,  plus special "meet the artists backstage" meal events 2x a year.  Your name will be listed on the wall above the stage, on the website,   in the newsletter and announced at events. 

$5000 or more - Eagle - your sponsorship will:

  •  purchase a window and door package 
  • Or a solar air heat package
  • Or a recording system to record and podcast our performances
  • Or pay our ASCAP and BMI bills for the year, to increase the amount of money each performer gets from their performance.
  • Or create a "Guarantee Fund" to guarantee a minimum amount of payment to any artist or speaker who provides their services to us.
  • Or sponsor a concert or lecture series - you can help choose the topic/genre.

All benefits above, plus a "life member" status.  Your name will be listed on the wall above the stage, on the website, in the newsletter , in the annual report, and announced at events. 

$25,000 or more - Golden Eagle- your sponsorship will:

  •  Provide for the legal needs of the center for the long term. 
  • Or allow for a full time resident director for six months.

All benefits above, including life member staus, PLUS a lectureship or concert series in your choice of genres, in your name.  Your name will be listed on the wall above the stage, on the website,  in the newsletter, in the annual report, and announced at events.
